Our Local Team: Driving Harold's Mission
Life Education Wairarapa, Tararua & Central Hawke's Bay is powered by passionate locals dedicated to our region's tamariki. Meet the people bringing Harold's magic to life:

Meet Our Educator Holly
Born and raised in Whakaoriori (Masterton), she’s passionate about empowering tamariki to embrace their uniqueness and make positive choices. A registered teacher with a Bachelor of Teaching and over 15 years of experience, Holly has dedicated her career to our youngest generations, primarily in Early Childhood. As a mum of five, she connects easily with students of all ages, fostering inclusive spaces where every child feels valued. Holly champions celebrating individual strengths and encourages kindness and compassion. In 2025, her potential was recognised with the Life Education Rearea Tohu Award. Outside the classroom, Holly cherishes time with her whānau, connecting with nature and summers at Castle Point Beach.

Empowering Local Tamariki For 28 Years
At Life Education Trust Wairarapa, Tararua & Central Hawke's Bay, we're passionate about one thing: helping local tamariki and rangatahi build the confidence and skills to make positive choices for a brighter future. We are a proud part of the nationwide Life Education Trust network, delivering its trusted programmes right here in our communities.

Our Collaborative Approach
We know every school community is unique. That's why our approach starts with partnership. We collaborate closely with teachers across Wairarapa, Tararua and Central Hawke's Bay to understand their students' specific needs, tailoring sessions using our 'Big Questions' framework rather than rigid modules.
Addressing Key Challenges Through Five Core Learning Strands:
Identity & Resilience
Building self-worth and emotional coping skills.
Relationships & Communities
Fostering empathy, communication, and positive social skills.
Food & Nutrition
Encouraging healthy relationships with food and understanding its role.
Human Biology
Exploring the wonders of the body in an age-appropriate way.
Substances
Providing factual information about vaping, alcohol, etc., for informed choices.
The learning doesn't stop when Harold drives away! We provide online resources for teachers to seamlessly integrate topics into their classroom, and take-home activity packs encourage children to share their learning with whānau, embedding positive messages throughout the community.
